Mock Cable Sweaters for Women * Pattern #8
This pattern includes the instructions for both the pullover and cardigan sweaters in 6 sizes. The sweaters are knit with worsted wt yarn and have a drop style sleeve that is knit down from the shoulder which is one of my favorite type of sleeves and much easier than a set-in. Also, the cardigan has a button band that is worked in seed st as you knit the fronts, so you don’t have to add it on later.
The best way to figure out which size to make is to measure a sweater that you like the fit of. Lay it flat and measure across the front at the underarm then multiply that by two to get the actual garment measurement. Next match that number to the “finished measurement” on the pattern…and don’t forget to make your test gauge!
Available in English only as a PDF download (not a paper pattern).
